If a picture is worth a thousand words, what thousand words would you have to say? Some of our participants use the front of their postcard as an extension of the written side; they have words to write and they need more space. Some use the front as an imagination exercise to draw what it might be like if our society managed to eradicate the stigma around eating disorders. And then there’s the abstract artists. What message do you see?

A Journey to MarkWEST
Courtesy of the always intrepid Anika, Post Your Change travelled to MARKWest in April. Many game participants joined us for a round table discussion on the debate that is eating disorders (although we can not verify that the table was actually round). Thank you to all of the participants who took the time to get talking and get postcarding!
Present at this micro-conference on eating disorders were a couple of participants who also happened to be medical professionals. It is great to have these voices at the table to hear first-hand accounts of where eating disorders treatment could be strengthened (and where it realistically could not). If mental health matters, is that reflected in our health care institutions?
